Folks - have you been following the news...or just noticed how busy your local Starbucks are these days? I've written about the hot trend in "co-working" before, but Reuters just put out a new article this past week that I couldn't pass up writing about. Seems as though co-working has gotten pretty hot in major markets. I know in NYC, new co-working businesses are up nearly 500% since this time last year (Jan '08). I wonder why? :-/ But, seriously, this could either a new trend in working - or - some interesting new office politics philosophy...ie hanging with the layoffs. But, seriously, what do we do with all this extra space?  We must move it, baby (to the tune of 'more cowbell').
